Software: silc-server
Version: 1.0.2
Operating System: Linux 2.6.16-ck8-darwin (Ubuntu 5.10)
Installation: source
Severity: major
Description:
I have attempted to kill a user who is connected to a server. After killing, the client is disconnected, but the client remains in the channel.
How to repeat:
* Logon test client to server.
* Have the test client join a channel.
* /SILCOPER up to the router that the server is connected to.
* Join the channel that the test client is in (I did it with another client on the server, not the router).
* /KILL the user.
* Type /users * from the server and note that they are still there.
* You can not /WHOIS them after killing.
Remote Environment:
I used \"Irssi base: 0.8.6+ - SILC base: SILC 1.0.1\" to connect to the server and router.
I used Gaim 1.5.0 (compiled from sources) to be the \"test dummy\".
I am using silc-server 1.0.2 for both the server and router.
Fix:
