SILC server 1.1.2 incompatible with old key files?

While upgrading to 1.1.2 it appears that old key files are not properly
parsed:

Warning, trying to output without log files initialization, log output is going to stderr

Error: Could not load private key file.

Is this a known issue?  The same file parses correctly with:

SILCd Secure Internet Live Conferencing daemon, version 1.0.4 (base:
SILC Toolkit 1.0.4)
