SILC Client 1.1 Beta5

The new version of the SILC Client is now available!  The source package
of the software is available from the following sources:

            http://silcnet.org/
            ftp://ftp.silcnet.org/

This beta release brings us many bug fixes.  Thanks for all that has been 
testing and reporting problems.  Keep on testing and keep on reporting 
problems.  Thanks.


Summary of Changes
------------------

o Fixed passphrase authentication with server

o Added "foo#2 appears as foo" support when "foo" leaves and only one
   other "foo" remains.

o Fixed nickname formatting in JOIN and WHOIS notify handling.

o Fixed channel private key listing with /KEY

o Added /SILC help file for SILC Plugin

o Fixed silc -S crash.

The full list of changes is available on the website and in CHANGES file
in the source package.


Installation
------------

The source package is compiled and installed as instructed in the INSTALL
file found from the package.  Quick installation:

     ./configure
     make
     make install
